RugBuddy™ under rug heater launches in UK

It's a special type of electric heater that goes on top of your floor and under your rug.

The main innovation is that the heater is ‘self regulating’.  This means that as temperatures rise in the heater, it’s ability to produce more heat reduces.  This limits the risk of overheating under the rug and makes RugBuddy™ very safe.   RugBuddy™ is fully compliant with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) temperature limits.

The Science Bit:

RugBuddy™ incorporates advanced electric underfloor heating technology:

·         Self regulating, multi stranded element with a full earth screen.
·         The heating core has self regulating properties, which means that it generates progressively less heat with increasing temperature. This is an important safety feature as we cannot control the thickness and 'tog' rating of rug the user places over it.
·         Insulated with 2 layers of Fluoropolymer coating, fully waterproof and corrosion resistant.
·         The heater element is very thin. You will not feel RugBuddy® under the rug, only the warmth.
