Follow on Google News | Oxfordshire artist auctions one off original illustration for Children in NeedBy: My Lil' Bo Jools Teare is the creator of the “My Lil’ Bo” character who currently features on wall art, greetings cards and postcards sold via her online shop. Jools has taken inspiration from Children in Need to design and create a drawing for Lil’ Bo which will be auctioned on eBay. The auction opens on Tuesday 5th November at 6pm and updates on bids will be provided via My Lil’ Bo’s twitter account, @Tales of LilBo. The auction will close at 6pm on Friday 15th November, just before the BBC Children in Need 2013 Appeal show. All proceeds will be donated to Children in Need. Jools says ‘I’ve previously auctioned my prints for charity and this time I’m keen to support a children’s charity so Children in Need is the perfect choice. It’s quite rare for me to sell My Lil’ Bo originals but I really hope people like the drawing and want to bid for it. I’d be extremely grateful for their support.’ Jools will personally cover all costs of shipping the drawing within the UK. Jools is also offering prints of the original illustration through her online shop. Customers will be requested to cover postage costs, but again all proceeds from sales of the prints will go to Children in Need. With a background as an artist/ illustrator for magazines and various publications, and exhibiting and selling paintings to international customers, Jools now focuses on My Lil’ Bo.
