Tom Messina is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist, and is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the standard of proficiency in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and associated modalities. He has a M.S. of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, a degree in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute, and a certification in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute. Typically, Tom uses several styles within a treatment session. “We are fascinated with the western research showing how acupuncture works, and many patients enjoy hearing this information, too." says Carol Braverman, LAc, MS, DiplOM. Carol Braverman is a licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has a M.S. and B.S. from Touro College’s Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine, and a B.A. in philosophy and English from Union College. She is certified in the treatment of oncology by the Integrative Medicine Service division of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and has advanced studies in treating women's conditions. "There are so many acupuncturists who focus on women's health, it's important to have a practice that focuses specifically on the health needs of men." says Jonathan Weiner. Jonathan Weiner is a licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
