18th “Old School & Blues,” music festival in Huntsville, Alabama supports Wounded Warriors
All Aboard the 18th Annual Old School & Blues Festival dedicated to “Military Appreciation Day,” Wounded Warrior Project™ joins JD Entertainment to help wounded U.S. Soldiers May 24th 2014
Annual Old School & Blues Music Festival drives support for Wounded Warrior Project™ supporting thousands returning from active duty.
Huntsville, Alabama- All Board! Music Festival dedicated to U.S. Military honoring the wounded and fallen soldiers, during Memorial day weekend in Huntsville, Alabama May 24th 2014 at the Huntsville Dragway— accepting over 15,000 spectators.
The 18th Annual Old School & Blues Music Festival is a one-day event being held on May 24th 2014 in collaboration with Wounded Warrior Project™ whose mission is #Mind— We envision a generation of Wounded Warriors well-adjusted in mind, receiving support to overcome the challenges of readjustment. Through interactive programs, outdoor rehabilitative retreats, peer support, and professional services, warriors are given the tools to maintain healthy, meaningful relationships with family and friends, and pursue life goals without the barriers or stigmas associated with mental health issues. Sponsors and vendors will be hosting hospitality tents throughout the fairgrounds. Festivities will include military presentation, assortment of freshly prepared food(s), refreshments and live music from nationally known recording artists. Upon arrival at the 18th Annual Old School & Blues Music Festival in honor of Wounded Warrior Project™ fans will be greeted by military members and presented with an exclusive ribbon.
Among the 2014 festival event(s) fans will be directed to visit to our presenting sponsor Historical Memorial Tent, where they will find memorable and historical artifacts— contributing to the history of Memorial Day.
