Milner Launches “Technology JumpStart Your Nonprofit” in Raleigh-Durham

Two winning nonprofits will receive office technology makeovers valued at $35,000
 
RALEIGH, N.C. - Nov. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- NORCROSS, GA -- Milner Inc., a technology company and full service provider of innovative office solutions, is offering nonprofit organizations in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area a chance to enter and win the “Technology JumpStart your Nonprofit” contest.

With all the challenges involved in running nonprofit organizations, finding the time and available funds to manage and improve office technologies are often difficult. This contest is our opportunity to say “thank you” for touching lives and making a difference within the community.

Two winning nonprofit organizations, will receive an office equipment makeover, with a combined total value up to $35,000. The makeover may include, but is not limited to: a black & white and/or color multifunction printer, telephony equipment, IT Consulting Services, ongoing networking support, and other technologies to make your office run more efficiently.

Milner completed a JumpStart program in the metro Atlanta area earlier this year. The overwhelming response resulted in 109 organizations being nominated and over 80,000 online votes being cast.

“Not only did we receive technology assistance, the JumpStart contest also really leveraged our fundraising arms.” said one of Atlanta’s winners, Grace Murphy, Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption. “We received around 1,000 new Facebook “likes” during the contest. Every single day we have people posting about us on twitter and have new people signing up for our e-newsletter. This contest expanded our presence in an amazing way we couldn’t do on our own.”

Milner invites all verifiable 501(c)(3) nonprofit groups with physical office locations in the 7 specified counties of North Carolina area to enter the “Technology JumpStart your Nonprofit” contest.

Registration for the contest will close on December 31st, at which time all entries will be displayed on the website for the public to vote. Voting for the Qualification Round will take place between Jan. 13, 2013 – Jan. 26, 2014.
