By: CoPiloted “We did not expect that number to be so quite so high.” reports Tina Bronkhorst, CoPiloted’s Chief Marketing Officer and author of the study. “It’s well known among investment professionals that regular monitoring and maintenance of retirement accounts helps to ensure steady growth. Clearly, this message isn’t making its way to the typical retirement saver.” The CoPiloted study found that over one third (34%) of the US online population who own a 401(k) have never changed their 401(k) investments after making their initial selection, while nearly 40% have only changed them once or twice. Just one quarter of respondents report making regular updates and changes to their 401(k) account. The study also reports that both women and younger investors are less likely to make any changes to their 401(k) accounts. CoPiloted CEO Jeremy De Bonet states “Our mission at CoPiloted is to make elite and personalized investment management accessible to everyone. Our research results clearly indicate that services like CoPiloted can provide vital account management advice and guidance to everyday American savers.” Read the full research report at https://www.copiloted.com/ End
