Dolly’s Pizza Franchise 1st Annual “DOLLYS DOLLS” Collection Efforts For Charities

COMMERCE, Mich. - Oct. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- From breast cancer to autism, there are so many great charities that individuals can participate.   Dolly’s Pizza Franchise, LLC wants to be a leader in their industry and felt by only selecting one specific charity limited their giving and fundraising efforts. So, Dolly’s Pizza decided to start their own program where they would collect toy dolls to benefit multiple communities, hospitals and charities in need with the focus on benefiting young children, especially girls.

“The more we talked to franchise owners, the more Dollys was encouraged to start this great program.  We found that many of our owners give during the holiday season but as a chain we could have a bigger impact combining our efforts and locations” say CEO Robert Lewis.   “I am very excited to announce the 1^st annual Dolly’s Pizza “DOLLYS DOLLS” collection efforts for children in need.”

“DOLLYS DOLLS” was founded out of the need for items, specifically dolls, used by local communities such as police and fire departments, as well hospitals, and other charities for comforting children.  Currently, many donation toy efforts resulted in toys centered on boys.   This is when Dolly’s Pizza research team showed that young girls also needed to feel belonged and comforted too.  Many communities use toys during children’s traumatic times such as a house fire, children involved in an automobile accident, diagnosis of illnesses such as cancer, gift for those underprivileged for birthdays and holidays, and to teach and serve as a safety blanket for those children with disabilities like Autism just to name a few.

The holiday season is approaching and Dolly’s Pizza wants to be a part of giving back to our community this year.  As a family focused organization, please join each of Dolly’s Pizza Franchise locations and help us collect brand new packaged dolls as part of our efforts.

Dolly’s Pizza would like to make the holidays brighter for children this holiday season.  Dolly’s Dolls will be donating collect dolls to various organizations and communities that have homeless shelters, fire stations, hospitals, non-profit community clinics and group homes, and other Michigan based charities that can greatly benefit from our efforts — bringing much needed cheer to children this holiday season.

Collection efforts will run from November 1^st, to November 30th, 2013 and each Dolly’s Pizza Location will have a collection box where individuals can donate.
