Last year Vivid Marketing, Inc helped Operation Smile raise $150,000 to support a medical mission to Brazil. This year Vivid Marketing, Inc has pledged to double their contribution and help fund another medical mission. In simply five hours of fundraising, the Vivid Marketing, Inc staff raised $760. Joey Aikins, a top leader at Vivid Marketing, Inc., had this to say of the event, "The most eye opening aspect was to see how many people were so willing to donate money to such a good cause. Its also really cool to know that the fundraising we are contributing to will forever change someone's life." Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft. One in 10 will die before their first birthday. For 30 years, Operation Smile and its network of more than 5,400 medical volunteers from around the world have provided more than 3.8 million healthcare evaluations and performed more than 200,000 free surgeries for children in need. However, many children are still waiting – children who often can’t eat or speak properly. Operation Smile can help give them a healthy, productive life filled with hope.
