Area Long John Silver’s Restaurants Host Register to Win Contest & Donate to Local Organization

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Locally-owned Long John Silver’s restaurants in the Johnstown region are holding a Register to Win contest this week, with a grand prize of four tickets to the nearly sold-out Musselman’s Applesauce Family Skating Tribute show and four tickets to the private after-party with the skaters. The show, hosted by Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and three-time U.S. Champion Michael Weiss, takes place Sunday, November 3^rd at the new Pegula Ice Arena on Penn State’s campus, and will air nationally on NBC in late November.

Two winners will be selected through a random drawing. Those 18 and older can enter the contest, and the winners will be pulled on Friday, November 1^st.

Besides the register to win opportunity, Long John Silver’s will also make a donation to a local ice skating organization, to assist with the travel expenses of sending skaters to national competitions.

The Musselman’s Applesauce Family Skating Tribute is a family-themed figure skating show that features figure skaters and their children. Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and three-time U.S. Champion Michael Weiss will host the show, and country music artist Sara Evans will perform several songs during the show. The Musselman’s Applesauce Family Skating Tribute takes place Sunday, November 3^rd at the Pegula Ice Arena on Penn State’s campus. The show will air nationally on NBC on Sunday, November 24^th.
