Chicago Bible Society to hold its annual Gutenberg Award Dinner October 30
Methodist Minister Phil Blackwell and Catholic Scholar Don Senior to be honored at the Awards Dinner to be held at the Union League Club in downtown Chicago

CHICAGO - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- The Chicago Bible Society announced that the Gutenberg Award this year will be given to two notable churchment: Pastor Phil Blackwell of the First United Methodist Church, Chicago Temple and Father Don Senior who has recently retired as President of Catholic Theological Union
The dinner will be held at the historic Union League Club on October 30, 2013. Executive Director Ken Oliver said that Fr. Don is well known, not just in Chicago, but throughout the world as one of the preeminent Catholic Biblical scholars of our generation.
Phil Blackwell has been active as both a church leader and civic leader in Chicago, putting into practice the values taught in Scripture about justice and the common good. Both have been featured speakers at the Society's Lenten Series.
Also premiering at the event is the new mini-documentary "The Touch of The Master's Hand" which describes, in detail the history and ministry of the Society. The video was produced by Sunlite Broadcasting Chicago. Sunlite President Allan Winters and Associate Producer Pamela Sue Uhlir worked together for several weeks before the final version was released today.
