InTouch CU Scores a Fourth Season of Bank to Achieve with Mavs D-League Players

PLANO, Texas - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) is proud to announce the 2013-2014 schedule for their “Bank to Achieve” youth financial literacy program. These five events, held throughout basketball season, feature the opportunity for the public to meet, interact and learn money management skills with Texas Legends basketballs players.

Plano-based ITCU is an official sponsor of the Texas Legends. The Texas Legends are a part of the NBA D-League, the official minor league of the NBA and an affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. Thirty percent of all NBA players now feature previous NBA Development League experience.

The events are held on select Saturday mornings, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at ITCU branches in North Texas communities. Each event hosts players from the Texas Legends available for photos or autographs. Complimentary tickets to upcoming Legends games as well as financial workbooks for age groups 0-10 and 11-18 are provided to all who attend the event; participants can also enter to win prizes from the Legends. Donuts, coffee and orange juice will be available and all activities at the event are provided free of charge.

All children, regardless of attendance at a Bank to Achieve event, are encouraged to enter ITCU’s Texas Legends coloring contest. The winner will be recognized on the court at a future Legends game and receive a prize. Children can complete a coloring page, featuring ITCU’s mascot, Chip and Dunker, the Texas Legends mascot, at any of our Texas branches, our booth during any Legends home game or it can be downloaded from the ITCU.org website, found in the Texas Events section.
