NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- More and more, the desire to get in shape and to stay healthy involves enlisting the help of a personal trainer or lifestyle coach. Dozens of organizations in the fitness industry now issue certifications to each, promising competency with those certified. But what makes one certification better than the other? And most importantly, who gets lasting results? Now, a revolutionary approach to health, fitness, and increased vitality has arrived.

Prince Bell, a personal trainer from Nashville, Tennessee, recently became a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1, using the cutting-edge techniques of world-renowned Holistic Health Practitioner and certified Neuromuscular Therapist Paul Chek; founder of the C.H.E.K Institute in San Diego, CA. Chek, a sought-after teacher and speaker, has had unparalleled success using his holistic approach in rehabilitation and conditioning for over 18 years.

To become a CHEK HLC, Prince attended the CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Advanced Training Program October 2013.  This program combines an intensive study of the relationship between food and lifestyle habits and the tools to recognize and create individualized eating plans to improve their client’s health and overall wellness. In addition, a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach understands the important roles that sleep, food quality, stress reduction techniques, and exercise play in improving the health of their clients and learn practical methods that initiate valuable lifestyle changes.

Prince, a Nashville native, played high school sports at Martin Luther King, Jr. Magnet High School before going on to attend Sewanee- The University of the South where he majored in Religious Studies and served as a student assistant coach on the varsity women's basketball team. His love for basketball and fitness continued while working as an intern and Assistant Teen Director at the North River YMCA in Hixson, Tennessee.

After a 4-year tour in the Navy, Prince's interest in personal fitness, martial arts, and stress management led him to begin the study of Tai Chi Chuan; studying personal fitness; and learning to use Russian Kettlebells. Since 2008, Prince has become a certified personal trainer, certified kettlebell trainer, and now a Chek Holistic Lifestyle Coach.

Prince says,"My goal is to create a different way of training people using movement, good nutrition, and breathing exercises to manage stress. Stress is one of the biggest causes of weight gain and poor health."

"I went with a friend to see Prince a week ago, and just from his advice to pay more attention to the foods I eat, I have already lost 6 lbs," says Delores McLaurin.
