Chicago Matrimonial Attorney Jeffery Leving on Fox Sports Radio with Mike North

CHICAGO - Oct. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL - Chicago Matrimonial Attorney Jeffery Leving (http://dadsrights.com) will be on Mike North’s radio show on Fox Sports Radio –XM 247 (NATIONAL)  on Sunday, October 27 at 9:45 PM (CST) to discuss important legal matters affecting the National Football League and its players.   Leving has provided critical counsel to retired and current NFL players in his legal practice and continues to do so. This week, Leving will be discussing the nearly week long Grambling College football players’ boycott that forced the university to forfeit its game against Jackson State.  The football players staged the boycott in order to draw attention to the plight of historically black colleges and universities such as Grambling, and the lack of resources available to sustain their facilities and personnel.  Grambling’s athletic department budget was slashed earlier this year, and football players lodged several complaints against the university administration including mold in the locker room and inadequately cleaned uniforms.

Leving will also providing commentary concerning the continued use of the Redskin name as more groups, including President Obama, pastors and the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) decry its use.  Many Native Americans consider the use of the name ‘Redskins’ to be a racial epithet.  However, in a letter written by Daniel Snyder to season ticket holders of the Washington football team, Snyder states that the “name was meant … to honor the team’s past … it was and continues to be, a badge of honor.”
