Needham Bank Launches Free Person to Person Payments

On October 15^th, 2013, Needham Bank’s online banking platform was enhanced with the addition of NB Person to Person.

Unique to Needham Bank, this person to person payments service enables checking account customers the ability to send money to anyone, at any U.S. bank, without incurring any fees. This feature, powered by PopMoney, has been added directly to Needham Bank’s online banking platform.

Through this enhancement, Needham Bank checking account customers can easily send their college student money without worrying if they received it in the mail and without having to pay any fees for an online money moving service. Needham Bank customers can also use this product to conveniently repay friends for event tickets, not have to worry about exact change for the babysitter, and not to have to fret about accurately splitting a bill again with friends after dinner.

Earlier this year, Needham Bank introduced NB Mobile (Check) Deposit to their already 5-Star rated NB Mobile App. Also in 2013, Needham Bank announced an ATM fee reimbursement program wherein the bank will reimburse their checking account customers who use another bank’s ATM. These fees are automatically reimbursed and appear on their customers’ monthly statements which essentially enables Needham Bank checking customers to access any ATM worldwide as if it were their own.
