Heywood Healthcare’s First Ladies Night Out raises funds for the American Cancer Society

Oct. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Gardner, MA – Nearly 50 area women attended Heywood Healthcare’s first Ladies Night Out for Breast Cancer Awareness on Tuesday, October 22nd.

Attendees were able to view the Cancer on Canvas display, enjoy a wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres schedule an annual mammogram and shop from vendors. Admission to the event was a $5 donation to the Heywood Hospital Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. The vendors at the event will also donate 10% of the total sales from that night to the American Cancer Society.

Heywood also collected canned or non-perishable food items at the door which have been donated to the Gardner Food Pantry.
