Dyson Electrical Receives Contractor of the Year Award at the 14th Annual NAMCSC Awards Dinner

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- On Friday, October 18, 2013 Deborah Dyson Electrical Contractors, a minority owned company, was awarded the 2013 Contractor of the Year Award at the National Association of Minority Contractors Southern California Chapter’s 14^th Annual Awards Dinner. The purpose of the annual dinner is to highlight individuals and businesses making a difference for minority businesses in the construction industry and recognize success in specific areas. The Southern California Chapter of the national non-profit organization has been committed to promoting the economic and legal interests of minority contracting firms through advocacy and education since 1990. The National organization was founded in 1969 and currently headquartered in Washington, DC.

NAMCSC’s Contractor of the Year Award is a prestigious honor presented to a minority firm that “continually promotes the mission and goals of the National Association of Minority Contractors Southern California Chapter (NAMCSC) in addition to being fearless in contributing to the growth of minority contractors during the past year” and has proven success in the construction industry. Deborah Dyson continues to demonstrate her commitment to minority business success by working on the Executive Board of the National Association of Minority Contractors Southern California, the Metro Transportation Business Advisory Council (TBAC) and with the Asian Business Association Orange County (ABAOC).

In her acceptance speech, Deborah Dyson attributed her success and the award “to the Dyson Electrical staff as well as the relationships and partners which have enabled us to grow to the ‘next level.’” She adds, enthusiastically when asked about her relationship with NAMCSC that, “partnering with some of NAMC’s Major Corporate Partners has lead to many business opportunities and ultimate success for my company.”
