Toronto Author of Acclaimed Holocaust Memoir, Pearl Goodman, to Speak at Holocaust Education Week

TORONTO - Oct. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Toronto psychotherapist, Pearl Goodman, is the author of Peril: From Jackboots to Jack Benny, an international and highly acclaimed account of her experiences juggling the angst of her survivor parents and its impact on her and her brother with her desire to fit into contemporary North American society during the 1960s and 1970s.

She will be giving two presentations at this year’s Holocaust Education Week in Toronto. On Monday, November 4, she will be at the Barbara Frum Branch of the Toronto Public Library to talk about The Post-Holocaust Story: The Impact on the Second Generation. On November 14 and not part of Holocaust Education Week, Ms Goodman will be speaking to the Sisterhood at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue in Toronto. In early 2014, Ms Goodman will be talking to the Seniors Group at Holy Blossom Temple, also in Toronto.
