NEW YORK - Oct. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- A former employee of J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC (J.P. Morgan) has filed an arbitration with FINRA alleging defamation, breach of contract, and negligence.  The claim requests $750,000 and expungement of the associated person's Form U5 and CRD.

The statement of claim alleges that J.P. Morgan was negligent when it terminated the employment of the Claimant.  Specifically, the claim alleges that J.P. Morgan made defamatory representation on the Claimant's Form U5 and to the CRD.  The claim also alleges that the Claimant should not have been terminated.

Prior to filing the statement of claim, J.P. Morgan attempted to deny the Claimant unemployment insurance benefits.  After a hearing was held, in which Imbesi Christensen represented the Claimant, a judge ruled against J.P. Morgan and permitted the Claimant to receive benefits.

Imbesi Christensen represents associated persons of FINRA in arbitration that were wrongfully terminated or require inaccurate information to be expunged.

Question relating to this arbitration or regarding FINRA expungement should be made to Brittany Weiner.  Ms. Weiner's telephone number is 646-380-9555.
