Frank Myers Auto Accepts INC Award A Second Time

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Oct. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Frank Myers Auto Maxx, a used car dealership in the Triad area of NC, has been recognized by Inc. Magazine on their annual Inc. 500/5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America.  The awards gala was held October 10-12, 2013 in Washington DC and featured Gary Vaynerchuk, Jim Collins, Marc Ecko and other notable speakers. Past members of the INC list include Facebook, Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, ClifBar, Patagonia, Oracle and Zipcar. In addition to Frank Myers Auto Maxx, the list added such powerhouses as Publix Supermarkets, CDW and Levi Strauss.

This is the second consecutive year that the Winston-Salem, NC based used car dealership has been on the list.

Methodology

The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2011. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
