Starkey Mortgage Expands National Builder Division to Texas
Starkey Mortgage to offer homebuilder support to Texas region
By: Starkey Mortgage
Texas-headquartered Starkey Mortgage has worked alongside community builders and homebuyers through the economic collapse and recognizes that many small to mid-size builders do not have the in-house resources or marketing departments they require to help them effectively market their communities. In response to this unfulfilled niche, Starkey Mortgage created its Builder Services program, which will offer professional marketing assistance to small builders so they can engage in effective social media, digital, and print marketing efforts to attract new home owners.
“We’ve had a very successful first year in the Southeastern region. It only made sense to expand the Builder Services Division into Texas. We will continue to enhance our current relationships with homebuilders while giving us the edge with new builders who want to increase sales and drive more traffic into their communities using traditional marketing efforts including marketing campaigns, press releases and print media pieces,” explained Randee Black, Vice President for Starkey's National Builder Division.
Managing the booming expansion of the Central Region is Susan Doane (NMLSR #17631), who brings over 20 years of experience in mortgages and management. Black continued, “Susan brings strong leadership to the region and she approaches her job with tremendous passion and commitment to her colleagues, clients, and business partners. Her financial background, combined with her mortgage expertise, gives her and her team a competitive advantage over other lenders.”
Susan has been with Starkey Mortgage for more than 11 years, serving as Sr. Vice President and Central Production Manager. She has been responsible for the growth and expansion of the company throughout this region. “The new home market has seen exceptional growth nationwide, especially in Texas where new home starts and housing prices are on the rise. We are excited to be able to offer additional support to homebuilders throughout the Lone Star State” Doane explained. The Texas homebuilding industry, which went into hibernation during the recession, awoke unprepared for a rebound. A strong job market, projected population growth, and a low unemployment rate of 6.4% has led to a strong new home sales market throughout Texas.
Starkey Mortgage provides in-house origination, processing, underwriting, and prides itself on timely closings and competitive rates. Starkey exercises controlled growth and works closely with homebuyers and builders to give them an assured experience.
