Helly Hansen announced as Official Clothing and Footwear Sponsor of Team Concise

SOUTH PETHERTON, U.K. - Oct. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Technical sportswear brand, Helly Hansen, has announced it will be the Official Clothing and Footwear Sponsor for British sailing team, Team Concise. Team Concise is also supported by one of Helly Hansen’s most prestigious Apparel Partners, Aspen Ski Company.

Team Concise is a crew of highly successful young British sailors with a passion for offshore racing. In recent years the crew have enjoyed a number of victories with their Class 40 race boat – Concise 2.

Renowned for its strong heritage in protecting those who spend their lives at sea, Helly Hansen will be kitting out Team Concise in its unrivalled three layer clothing system to ensure the crew remain warm, dry and protected when facing volatile conditions at sea. In addition, Helly Hansen consultants will be on-hand to offer advice to the team as they prepare to participate in some of the world’s most iconic offshore races.

Throughout the year work has progressed on the team’s new Forty (1) Design boat. During the building programme, some of the crew visited Aspen, Colarado both for a well-earned break and some great powder skiing and fitness training. Plans are underway for the team to return to Aspen in spring 2014 between the RORC Caribbean 600 and the Class 40 Atlantic Cup series which is sailed between Charleston and Newport.
