I Blame My Mother for abusing me when I was a child (new ebook)

MONTREAL - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Far from being nurturers, mothers abuse their children in alarming numbers. 3 million cases of child abuse (6 million children) are reported to child protection services in the U.S. each year – Over 40% of the abusers are mothers, either alone or with another adult.

Such abuse ranges from vicious verbal remarks to physical and sexual damage. The lasting harm of this cruel behavior is documented by adults who shared their horrific childhood experiences with therapists from several Western countries.

As more than one respondent noted: “You never get over such remarks.  They colour most relationships you will ever have.”

Based on the survivors' suggestions and his own 46 year career, Canadian author and hypno-psychotherapist Dr Bryan Knight offers specific guidelines to help not only adult sufferers of childhood abuse but the mothers who today feel guilt and regret for how they harmed their children.
