Kingswood Court Breaks Ground for New Assisted Living Community

Construction has begun on the first phase of development for Kingswood Court, a new Assisted Living community in Superior. This first phase will feature sixteen assisted living apartments and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014.
 
Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Construction has begun on the first phase of development for Kingswood Court, a new Assisted Living community in Superior.  There will be a celebration of the groundbreaking on Friday, October 18th at 3:00 p.m.  The groundbreaking event will take place at the building site, located west of the former Northward Elementary school building.   The Executive Director, partners and investors invite the community to join them as they celebrate this event that is marked to bring high quality compassionate care to seniors in the surrounding communities of Superior.

This first phase will feature sixteen assisted living apartments and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014.    These Assisted living apartments are designed for seniors who would benefit from receiving assistance with meal preparation, social activities, minimal assist with activities of daily living and medication management.  Residents of Kingswood Court will be able to enjoy their private apartments while receiving services that allow them to live happy and productive lives in a safe and nurturing community.  The new community will be located at the former Northward Elementary school building, adjacent to Brodstone Memorial Hospital which allows for quick response in case of emergency.

Living choices include spacious one bedroom apartment residences with individual bathrooms, kitchenettes and spacious closets.  All apartments are designed to take advantage of natural light while offering state-of-the-art individual climate controls to accommodate differing comfort preferences.  Garages will also be available for residents to keep their vehicles out of the elements.

The community will feature a theatre area and stage for residents to enjoy performances by local school and church groups along with various entertainers.  Other amenities include various lounge and reading areas, spa, full calendar of events, and large screen televisions for watching sports and events.  Fine restaurant-style dining will be available to residents and their guests.
