Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Two new collections from a company with demonstrable experience, featuring different styles with all the profound, intense allure of traditional craftsmanship. Two collections with an appealing Art Nouveau and Provençal air, with finishes that leave an aftertaste reminiscent of fine wine and Italian craftsmanship at its most sublime: Brunello 1974, the Italian furnishing house from Bassano, presents its very latest collections exclusively for the leading two fairs in the sector on the European scene. Brunello 1974 will be making its début at Crocus Expo 2013 in Moscow, from 16 to 19 October, and will also be present for the second consecutive year at Abitare il Tempo 100% Project in Verona, from 13 to 15 October.

As distinctive as Merlot, as sweet as Malvasia, as captivating as Marsala and with all the sparkle of Champagne: a splendid fil rouge that binds fine wines to fine wood. This is why each one of the finishes in the two new Brunello collections takes its name from the most renowned wines of the bel paese. The finishes are of course aged in the genuine wooden containers that are a fundamental part of the Brunello experience.

The cornerstones of the Brunello philosophy are design, Italian tradition, the careful study of shapes and attention to detail: qualities that allow the company to offer a selection of furnishing accessories boasting the very finest in craftsmanship.

It is the cabinetmaker’s art that lies at the heart of the quality furnishings produced by the Bassano-based company. Robust, hard-wearing, regal, fragrant woods are provided with a wide variety of soft finishes in contemporary shades.

The two brand-new collections, which will be presented for the very first time at Crocus and Abitare il Tempo, go by the names of Camelia and Aix.

Camelia is the maison’s Art Nouveau style selection, featuring soft, warm finishes. The artistic movement that emerged in the 1920s, characterised by slim lines, curved or fragmented elements and lively colour combinations, offers new, ever-evolving perspectives for the collection, which derives from the desire to bring new shapes to wood, reinterpreting the classic stile in a contemporary key to create sophisticated, timeless furnishing accessories.

The second of the two, with its French name, recalls the allure of country style with a luxury twist.

Aix is a collection with a refreshing spirit, enhanced by elegant, soft, engaging finishes: a fresh, natural selection, as chic as the nature it draws its inspiration from.

Top-quality cherry, beech and linden wood, enhanced by a variety of lacquers and splendid finishes such as gold leaf, applied exclusively by hand and protected with soft, fragrant beeswax. These unique treatments bring out all the natural beauty of the wood.

All the finishes bear names typical of winemaking tradition, and are designed to give the furnishings a taste of the finest Italian craftsmanship.
