Community Outreach Program to Support Communities that support Activcare Physical Therapy

RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, NC – Matt Lisk, PT, DPT, ATC and Director Athletic Training Services announced that the Clayton Physical Therapy Cliniclocated in the Medical Pavilion at Spring Brook 166 Springbrook Avenue, Suite 201, continues to expand its community outreach through athletic training for three surrounding high schools with the addition of Shebly Baez as a certified and licensed athletic trainer.

Returning the support shown by the Clayton community, Activcare Physical Therapy offers their athletic training services to West Johnson High School, Cleveland High School and Clayton High School. Clayton is a physically active community, and Activcare’s Community Outreach program operates under the company’s goal to improve the quality of life in the communities they serve through healing, education, and empowerment.

Shelby Baez, LAT, ATC is a native of Fayetteville, NC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2013 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic Training. While at UNC Chapel Hill, Shelby served as an athletic trainer for UNC Chapel Hill's men lacrosse, swimming and diving, and club sports. She has also covered high school athletics as an athletic trainer in various high schools in the RDU area, and has worked as an athletic trainer for Nike Sports camps. She is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and is licensed by the State of North Carolina.
