SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The Barrier Island Group for the Arts (BIG ARTS) is pleased to announce Starfish Grille has signed on as a marketing partner for the 2013-2104 season, marking the first time a restaurant has provided the catering for the opening night pre-performance receptions at Herb Strauss Theater. It also compliments another new BIG ARTS marketing initiative launched this season, a special package featuring one adult ticket to all six opening night shows and the receptions for just $200, a savings of more than 15%.

The Herb Strauss Theater opening night performance dates are Saturday, November 30 for Hamlet {solo}; Thursday, December 19 for Holiday Spectacular; Friday, January 10 for Into The Woods; Thursday, February 20 for Defamation; Friday, March 7 for Romance/Romance; and Friday, April 11 for The Big Bang: Also new this season, tickets to all Herb Strauss Theater performances are only $5 each for students with valid student ID and for children 17 and under. The Herb Strauss Theater kicks off the season of professional productions on November 30 with the internationally acclaimed Hamlet {solo}, starring Raoul Bhaneja. The one-man show will be followed by an original fun-filled musical, Holiday Spectacular, written and directed by Bobby Logue and John Ramsey. The new year will begin with an exciting performance of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine Tony-award winning musical, Into the Woods, followed by the thought-provoking drama, Defamation, in which the audience is the jury. The last two shows feature the light-hearted musical, Romance/Romance, with book and lyrics by Barry Harman and music by Keith Herrmann, before ending the season with the hysterical madcap musical, The Big Bang, featuring music by Jed Feuer and book and lyrics by Boyd Graham.
