LifeAID Beverage Co.'s GolferAID Pro Player to be Featured on Golf Channel’s 2013 Big Break

(http://www.lifeaidbevco.com) - Santa Cruz, CA-October 11- GoferAID (http://www.golferaid.com) beverage sponsored pro Brian Cooper is currently appearing in the 2013 edition of the Golf Channel’s (http://www.golfchannel.com) popular reality competition series Big Break (http://www.golfchannel.com/tv/big-break-nfl/).  The new season of the long running program premiered the evening of Tuesday, October 14, 2013, and is called Big Break NFL Puerto Rico. This year, six retired NFL superstars try to help their Big Break All-Star teammates have a second chance to win a coveted PGA (http://www.pga.com/home/) or LPGA (http://www.lpga.com/default.aspx) tour exemption.

“Coop” also appeared in the 2012 edition of the program, and that performance earned him a return spot in this year’s competition. “As Pittsburgh native, Steeler football is part of my DNA” says Cooper, who proudly displayed a “Terrible Towel “on his bag while filming Big Break in 2012, “and so to be surrounded by these NFL greats is like a dream come true for me.” Along with Shannon Fish, Cooper is on the team headed by the legendary Chris Doleman, who is regarded as one of the top defensive backs to ever play in the NFL. As a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, an eight time Pro Bowler and with over 150 career sacks, Cooper states that Doleman “brings the same competitive drive to Big Break that he displayed on the football field. He still has the fire. He hates to lose, and Shannon and I don’t plan on letting him down. I brought plenty of GolferAID down to Puerto Rico, and I can’t wait to introduce Chris to this great product!”

Cooper joined the GolferAID team in 2012. Cooper is a natural born athlete who excelled in both hockey and baseball in college, but, unlike most pros, did not take up golf until after graduating college. Cooper’s 1994 stint on South America’s Tour de Las Americas provided him with the motivation to peruse playing golf for a living. Since that time his goal has been to make it to the PGA Tour. To that end, Cooper has amassed more than thirty professional victories on various golf tours worldwide, and he has advanced through the 1^st stage of PGA Tour qualifying twice.  Cooper says “I believe that finishing on top of Big Break this year will indeed give me the real big break that I need to finally make the Tour. I plan on giving it my all!”
