2013 Military Heroes Golf Classic is a Success

MCKINNEY, Texas - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The Military Heroes Golf Classic, hosted by the PenFed Foundation, was a tremendous success this year at the Congressional Country Club in Bethseda, Maryland.

The Foundation was able to raise over $332,000 at the tournament auction for their Military Heroes Fund, which provides wounded service members with services that the Defense Department cannot offer due to budgetary and regulatory restrictions.  Companies nationwide, including NEMO-Q, donated items to be auctioned off at the tournament to show their support for the nation’s troops.

Michael Berg, the President of NEMO-Q, said he was excited to hear that the benefit had a great turn-out.

“I’m glad we were able to make a contribution to the Military Heroes Golf Classic Auction. PenFed has always been a great customer of ours, and once the opportunity presented itself to not only show our appreciation for our troops but also support one of our client’s charities, I jumped on it.”
