Quinceañera Industry Flourishes With Growth of Latino Population
The "Quinces and Sweet 16 Expo" an annual series of Expos throughout South Florida, continues to captivate and attract a massive turnout of teens
The Latino population in the U.S. is a young one; one out of every six teens in the United States is of Hispanic origin. It follows that every day there are more Quinceañeras looking forward to celebrating their fifteenth birthday by having a huge celebration. This trend is also mirrored among non-Hispanic teens, many of whom dream of an over-the-top Sweet 16 party. This brings a high demand forQuinceañera and Sweet 16 party related services such as dresses, makeup, transportation, catering, videography, photography, and venue rentals.
In response to this trend, Events a la Mode launched "15 and Sweet 16" magazine and expos to cater to the needs of these teens and their families, as well as connect them to businesses serving and creating fabulous Quinceañera and Sweet 16 parties. These expos have been wildly popular and the next event is planned for December 14, 2013 at Saregama Lounge in West in Palm Beach.
The last Expo was flocked by more than 4,000 enthusiastic teens and families at the Palm Beach Convention Center. The upcoming expo features over 50 exhibitors who offer diverse products and services from fashion shows featuring the latest trends in party attire, cake testing, DJ demonstrations and photography packages. The highlight of the Expo is the announcement of the Miss Covergirl Fl Pageant, who wins a dream Quinqueañera or Sweet 16 party worth $5,000.
