Homophobia in the Black Church: How Faith, Politics and Fear Divide the Black Community

CHICAGO - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Anthony Stanford, Sun-Times Media News columnist and author of “Homophobia in the Black Church: How Faith, Politics and Fear Divide the Black Community,” is scheduled to appear on the Chicago WYCC PBS program “In the Loop.” The topic of discussion will be the Catholic Church and African American pastors non-support of gay marriage.

The program will air at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 17, and again on Sunday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m.

The author is currently working two other controversial books. One is related to the value that Americans place on federal employees, and the misconception surrounding federal workers. As usual Stanford's work is timely and controversial. He is also writing about the numerous ways that police corruption erodes our faith in law enforcement, and affects the morality of Americans. The books, being published by ABC-CLIO are tentatively scheduled for release in 2014 and 2015.
