Nancy’s Story: A Victory Over Violence” Offered as a Free E-Book beginning October 16, 2013

NEW YORK - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- On Oct. 16, 2013, author, speaker and devoted advocate against domestic violence, Nancy Salamone, will issue a revitalized version of her book, Nancy’s Story: A Victory Over Violence. In her inspiring tell-all tale, Ms. Salamone reintroduces her personal account of what it’s like to not only survive a 20-year long violent relationship, but how to thrive and be successful after it’s over. Along with offering the tragic details of the abuse she endured, this modified edition will include a whole new chapter, entitled “Domestic Violence Goes to Work,” and will be available for free between Oct. 16 - Oct. 18.

In this recently added chapter, Ms. Salamone aims to enlighten the millions of women--not unlike herself--who are victims of domestic violence and who go to work every day at companies across the country. “Domestic Violence Goes to Work” takes a comprehensive look into the hazards that partner abuse places on the workplace, and how employers can implement Employee Assistance Programs that will both protect their workers from this kind of danger as well as safeguard their company’s bottom line.
