Queen City Ukulele Club Holds First Meeting

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The ukulele movement has reached a new level in Springfield with a club beginning October 15 at Springfield Music.

“It's hard to play a ukulele without a smile on your face,” said Anisa Dawn, club organizer and ukulele enthusiast. “We want the Queen City Ukulele Club to be an opportunity to share the joy of ukuleles while building a community for fun and learning from each other.”

Free for all ages, the club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Springfield Music performance room. The Queen City Ukulele Club will be a resource for a growing local community of ukulele players of all ages and experience levels. Members will have the opportunity to jam with the group, discuss techniques, and share their musical progress.
