30 World Class Jewelry Artists Gather in Atlanta to Show Their Work

ATLANTA - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- ATLANTA - The Atlanta Contemporary Jewelry Show anticipates the largest crowds ever for its seventh annual show and sale.  On November 1^st and 2^nd thirty world renown jewelry artists from seventeen states converge in Atlanta for this one-of-a-kind event.

The artists each present their own distinctive, award winning work.  Show organizers Debra Lynn Gold and Leigh Griffin say, “We are continually searching for the best of the best among the country’s most accomplished contemporary jewelry artists.  This year’s show promises to be the most exciting one yet, showcasing a range of materials and styles of entirely artist made jewelry.  The pieces include edgy conceptual works to timeless classics to playful originals to museum quality collectibles - all individually handcrafted by the artists in their studios. Each artist enjoys a national, if not international, reputation.” No other major city hosts a show like this, one dedicated to the art of jewelry where people can meet the artists and learn the stories behind the work.

The show takes place Friday, November 1^st from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, November 2^nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Defoor Centre in Midtown Atlanta.

Friday evening admission includes the much-anticipated Meet the Artists Reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., sponsored by the SJTA and The Atlanta Jewelry Show.
