Operation Kindness has a wide range of adoptable dogs. From energetic, playful puppies to senior dogs enjoying their golden years – each is ready for a loving family and “forever home.”

Meet Ramona, an adorable 5-month-old Catahoula Leopard pup looking for a brand new home and family. Her markings are blue and charcoal. She and her eight siblings were transferred from a local shelter to Operation Kindness. She will bring years of joy and happiness to any home.

Vidal is a sweet little boy who was transferred from a local city shelter. He is a Polish Lowland Sheepdog mix and is still young at heart even though he is a little older – 7 years old. Vidal has a friendly, loving disposition and will be a great dog for most any family.

These dogs and their canine companions are looking for their “forever homes,” a phrase Operation Kindness uses often. The concept of a “forever home” is widespread.

“At Operation Kindness, we envision a world where all dogs and cats have loving, responsible, ‘forever homes.’ Providing a dog or cat with a ‘forever home’ means you’re making a commitment to care for them for their entire life. It’s not a decision that should be made lightly, but it can be extremely rewarding,” said Jim Hanophy, CEO of Operation Kindness.

On average, Operation Kindness adopts out 2,600 dogs per year. To adopt Ramona, Vidal or one of their canine friends, visit Operation Kindness at 3201 Earhart Drive in Carrollton, TX, 75006.

Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. Each day Operation Kindness cares for an average of 300 animals at its Carrollton, Texas, shelter with an additional 100 animals living in its foster-home network. Operation Kindness has saved more than 75,000 animals since its inception. Learn how to adopt, donate or volunteer by visiting www.OperationKindness.org or by calling 972-418-PAWS.
