An Open Letter to Senator Stabenow

WALLED LAKE, Mich. - Oct. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- We the People are tired of being treated like 2nd class citizens, We are on to your political games and the games Washington plays.

America has evolved, We are smarter, We do care what happens to our Country, and We do care about what happens now more than ever about the political actions in Washington.

I am offended on behalf of America, as your post about closing down the government is political tripe. The Senate in the past 5 years has failed to pass a budget, even when it was Democratically controlled. Michigan did not elect you to play political games with our lives, We elected you with the belief that you would do what is right and just not just for Michigan, but for America, and instead you voted along party lines.

Your job is not to represent the Democratic party, It's to represent Michigan citizens and Michigan's interests. Did you even consult with Michigan Governor or the Michigan House or Senate before you just voted along party lines? Do you ever know what is happening in your state?

Your Job as a Senator is to do the Will of the People of Michigan, Did you even consult us? Have you toured the state recently and asked anyone what they thought? When was the last time you held a series of town hall meetings to hear from all sides the very issues that We face?

We elected you to do Our will, to Be a voice in Michigan, to uphold our beliefs and values. We elected you to do not what is the politically easy thing, but to do the right thing for Michigan, and it's clear with your latest post, you have absolutely no idea what is really going on in Michigan or you think We are stupid

Since I cannot answer the question for you, Michigan citizens do understand that there are 3 sections of government, and that the Senate is not passing bills to continually fund the Government.

Do you really think that Anyone is foolish enough to believe that it doesn't take 3 full sections of the government to pass a budget?

Do you think after We have been repeatedly lied to by the Washington establishment that we will continue to believe the talking point tripe that your campaign office spews?

You should be ashamed of yourself, as You owe the people of Michigan Answers, You owe the People of Michigan leadership, of which we have seen none.

The people and deserve a fully functioning Government, We do not deserve this continued spending spree that you have helped time and time again pass.

We the People do not deserve to be lied to, We want the truth, We want leadership, and We want someone who will uphold Michigan citizens beliefs and Michigan's values. We have seen none of that from you.

Michigan deserves better than this Senator, We deserve a Leader willing to lead. We deserve a leader willing to tell us the truth, even if it's not politically advantageous to do so. We deserve a true leader, and that is something you are failed all of us in Michigan.

Michigan deserves leaders willing to break from party lines and do what is best for the People, not what is best for their portfolio or politically easy
