Urgent Medcare Acquires Medsouth Urgent Care Location In Meridianville, Alabama

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Oct. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Huntsville, Alabama/ October 7, 2013 – Urgent Medcare, a quality- and patient-focused urgent care leader in Huntsville, acquired the Meridianville, AL location of Medsouth Urgent Care on October 3, giving Urgent Medcare three locations in the Huntsville area. The acquisition is part of the regional growth strategy of CRH Healthcare, which acquired the Wall Triana Highway and Shields Road locations of Urgent Medcare in March 2013.

Medsouth Urgent Care and Urgent Medcare both provide walk-in medical care, primary care, and occupational health services seven-days-a-week. While the name of the facility will change to Urgent Medcare and the hours will change to 8AM-6PM daily, the physicians and staff at the Medsouth location will continue to provide the quality services that the Meridianville community has grown accustomed to from Medsouth. In addition to the capable staff, the center has lab and x-ray capabilities onsite, allowing patients to be seen for nearly all non-life threatening medical issues without the long wait or high costs of an emergency room. As the only urgent care center in Meridianville and with the nearest emergency room over ten miles away, the center provides a convenient alternative to other options in the area.
