Vegan Chefs Back on Vegan Mainstream Cookbook Club

The Cookbook Club allows plant-based cooks of all levels to dish with vegan chefs and fellow plant-based food enthusiasts, and to experience cooking “together” in a unique online experience.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Oct. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Plant-based cooks around the world have their spatulas at the ready as vegan chefs and cookbook authors are once again being featured on the Vegan Mainstream Cookbook Club. The Cookbook Club allows plant-based cooks of all levels to dish with vegan chefs and fellow plant-based food enthusiasts, and to experience cooking “together” in a unique online experience.

Each week a different chef/cookbook author is highlighted within the club as they introduce new cookbooks and recipes, answer questions, and provide tips about how to make their favorite foods. Cookbook club members are encouraged to make at least one of a couple of “challenge” recipes, and to share their experiences and photos with the club. It’s free, and no experience is necessary; interested cooks can join here. (https://plus.google.com/communities/101822145156979261321)

Vegan Mainstream Managing Director Stephanie Redcross says the company started the club to help raise awareness of all the great new vegan cookbooks that are coming out. “And we want to help make it easy for people stick to a plant-based diet and to really enjoy vegan food,” she adds.  “Vegans love talking about their food, and this is a fun and really engaging forum where people can do that – and it’s a great opportunity to learn more about all kinds of food from experts who really know their stuff.”

Club members can tune in to weekly live Google Hangouts with Redcross, Vegan Mainstream Blog Manager Emma Larocque, and the featured chefs. Listeners are encouraged to send in questions.
