NEW YORK - Oct. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Imbesi Christensen has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Bryan Emperor, the former Executive Chef of the popular Sag Harbor and New York City Japanese restaurant Sen. Mr. Emperor assisted in opening the Manhattan satellite restaurant and designed the menu based on his years of expertise in the culinary industry.

In the lawsuit, Bryan Emperor v. Sen NYC LLC, Big Fish Hospitality Group, LLC, Toranosuke Matsuoka and Jeffrey Resnick, (Index No. 23756/2013E) Mr. Emperor alleges that Sen has violated his right of publicity by using his name in association with the restaurant.

The lawsuit alleges that since his departure from Sen in June of 2013, Sen continued utilizing Mr. Emperor’s name in connection with the restaurant. Because of Mr. Emperor’s reputation and notoriety, Sen continued to use Mr. Emperor’s name on the menu, listing him as the “Executive Chef” and displaying four dishes as “Chef Emperor’s Specialties.”

All media requests relating to the lawsuit should be made to attorney Brittany Weiner.
