BOWIE, Md. - Oct. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Fall has arrived, the frost will soon be on the pumpkin and Charlie Brown will be asking Linus why he is waiting for the great pumpkin to appear in the pumpkin patch again.

The Holiday season is fast approaching and with it is the temptation of sugar laden treats and food. During this time diabetics, like us, must to watch what we eat even more closely.  The sugar monster can be hiding in everything we eat as well as the hidden carbs. This can be a challenging time to keep our blood sugar under control.  I know that I will fall off the wagon from time to time this season; however my plan is to hit the treadmill as much as possible soon.

I had my diabetic visit with my doctor today he was thrilled that my A1C was 6.1, so I must be doing a few things right. My entire test came out just fine but I have allowed my weight to creep up on me, so I will start on the treadmill again tonight and try to reach the weight goal that I have set for myself.
