Tha Vill lost his brother to suicide on October 7th, 2007 due to a deep depression that was hid from close friends and family. Tha Vill has made a life long mission to keep his brothers memory alive and bring awareness to the signs of depression and suicide.
October, 2013 marks the sixth year of his brothers passing and Tha Vill describes his pain as a part of him passing too. His brother was a talented producer, writer, artist and worked very closely with Tha Vill. Not only did he loose a brother, he lost a best friend.
As quoted from the artist, "this is bigger than music, there is nothing like loosing someone you love to suicide and wondering the whole time if you could have done something to prevent it.
Tha Vill hopes this will help others who are suffering from depression by raising funds and bringing awareness to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
