Los Angeles fashion show powered by Luevo, a Canadian tech start-up

October 4, 2013. Luevo, a Toronto-based startup, is partnering with emerging fashion designer Bri Seeley for the L.A. runway debut of her Spring/Summer 2014 “Silence Collection”. Luevo’s mission is to help emerging independent fashion designers crowdfund their collections by helping them get the pre-orders they need for production, direct from consumers.

The event is taking place on October 10th at Eden in Los Angeles (Hollywood). Bri Seeley will be the first designer to take pre-orders on the Luevo platform. Guests at this fashion show can pre-order their favorite items as they see them modeled on the runway, and the designer has a maximum of 30 days to collect the required pre-orders before going into production. The successfully funded items are estimated to be shipped at the beginning of next year, before the season even begins.
