Author Nigel Napier-Andrews Introduces New Blog
Nigel Napier-Andrews was born in England, and spent parts of his childhood in Wimbledon, Cairo, Egypt, and Benghazi, Libya.
Napier-Andrews has been writing his entire career: as a young journalist in Kenya, then in Advertising, Public Relations, at the BBC in London, at the CBC in Toronto, as the Producer, Director, and Writer of hundreds of television shows, as the author of three published books (including the bachelor cook book “How To Eat Well and Stay Single”) and many newspaper and magazine articles, and as the creator of thousands of television shows and corporate videos.
When asked why he chose to begin blogging Napier-Andrews responded, "I was always being asked for recipes from my old cookbook, How To Eat Well and Stay Single, so I decided to post my favourites in a blog." Gradually readership expanded and the posts gained increased pouplarity both locally and abroad.
"I quickly found I was equally interested in good living, travel, food generally, and of course Scotch. Before I'd written more than a couple of blogs my site had morphed into its present format. I very much enjoy sharing my travel and culinary adventures with others, and they seem to enjoy my stories," he added.
Though many current blogs cater to a very small demographic, Napier-Andrews enjoys wide-reaching audience that spans many generations. "I'm writing for people who like good living, adventure, travel, food, and whisky."
