HEMINGWAY AND PICKETT presents Greetings From Silver Lake Podcast

The podcast where local legends and visiting visionaries talk to Toby Burke Hemingway in the back room of his revered Silver Lake art & design store Hemingway and Pickett.
LOS ANGELES - Oct. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Living in this neighborhood for over 6 years and especially since opening the store in 2011, Toby’s met countless interesting, imaginative, funny and memorable people. Some of them he’s lucky enough to call friends, customers, collaborators and suppliers of the store (or a mixture of all those).

It’s one of the enjoyable and inspiring things about spending time in this particular part of Los Angeles. Some call it the Eastside…from about Los Feliz, through Silver Lake, Echo Park and into Downtown LA, you’ll find some fascinating people living or even just visiting.

So this podcast is just a way for Toby to take those conversations that normally happen in the front of the store – or on the street, or in a local bar, or in someone else’s store – into the back room and onto tape, so you too can hear what these people have to say. Sometimes it might be funny. Sometimes it might be sad. Sometimes it might ramble. They might even offend you. But hopefully it will always be interesting, entertaining and maybe inspiring.

Thanks for listening and come visit us soon. You never know, we might get to talking.

GFSL can be heard at http://greetingsfromsilverlake.com, and is also available on iTunes. Thanks for listening!
