Governor and Attorney General, as well as candidates from throughout the region will attend. Both Terri McAuliffe and Ken Cuccinelli will participate in a dialog with the attendees. WHY: On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (NVBCC), Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, and Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pledging to collaborate and implement programs that will establish a greater framework of support and opportunities for all minority-owned businesses in the Commonwealth. The signing took place at the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. “This agreement is another step in the significant effort underway to engage with our colleagues and build cross-cultural relationships critical to the sustainability of all minority-owned businesses located in the Commonwealth,” This historic MOU promises to change the paradigm for how minority businesses engage and interact with one another.
