Injury Attorney David Silverstein Teams Up with Lawrence Township Police Department for Tough Mudder

PRINCETON, N.J. - Oct. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- As an avid climber and cyclist, attorney David Silverstein is no stranger to physical and mental challenges. Just after a solo climb of Mount Bierstadt, a 14er in Colorado, at the end of September, Mr. Silverstein is ready for the next challenge: the Tri-State Tough Mudder race and obstacle course. Who, What, Where, When?

In a Tough Mudder event, a person may participate as an individual or part of a team. For this race, David Silverstein will be part of a team with the Lawrence Township Police Department.

Tough Mudder is not just another mud run. It’s 10 to 12 miles of mud, running, and challenging obstacles meant to test overall stamina and strength while inspiring camaraderie. The Tri-State race has 20 obstacles, which may include Arctic Enema®, where a person would need to submerge themselves in an ice-filled water and swim under a wooden plank to the other side, Berlin Walls℠, where participants must rely on teamwork to scale three 12-foot wooden walls (which are conveniently placed after something tiring), or perhaps the Cage Crawl℠, where participants must lay on their back, in muddy cold water, under chain link fence and pull themselves across 60 feet with only six inches of breathing room. The Tri-State Tough Mudder is being held on October 12 and 13, 2013 at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. Participants will start the course in waves. The course takes approximate three to four hours to complete for those who go all the way through without too much walking or too many rest stops.

More than Just an Obstacle Course

Tough Mudder is not just an obstacle course and run created simply for fun. It is also not just a test of strength, stamina, and camaraderie. The option to make a donation to the Project is available during the registration process and participants have raised over $6.5 million to date. These donations support the many military members who come home from active service.
