New IIC&M Coaching and Mentoring Accreditation Requirements and Process for Individuals

CHATHAM, U.K. - Oct. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Summary: The IIC&M has launched an improved process for Coaching and Mentoring Accreditation for Individuals.

[Canterbury, England – 24th September 2013] - The IIC&M (previously ECI) Accreditation is now at the forefront of accreditation and support for Coaches and Mentors in all countries with its new and efficient accreditation.

IIC&M recognises how important Accreditation is for competent professional coaches and mentors. IIC&M Accreditation exists for the following causes:

a. To bring assurance to companies and clients who hire coaches and mentors,

b. To reinforce coaching and mentoring as a professional industry,

c. To validate professionalism in accreditation,

d. To ensure that the coaches and mentors have the proper training and experience,

e., To ascertain that the coaches and mentors demonstrate the core competencies necessary for every coaching and mentoring  session regardless of the schools of thought being used.

IIC&M Accreditation comes in levels: 1. Practitioner, 2. Senior, 3. Master and 4. Fellow. All four (4) have varying and progressive training and experience qualifications and requirements. Coaches and mentors who wish to become accredited will need to provide the following:

a. Course Training Requirements,

b. Training Certificate(s)

c. Continuing Professional Development,

d. Testimonials with contact details,

e. Live coaching session or recording of a coaching session.

f. Signed IIC&M Declaration of Integrity (available on the website)

The highlight of the new Accreditation requirement is how the coaches and mentors are assessed.  IIC&M is now using live demonstrations as a primary option in the coaching and mentoring assessment.

The Coaching and Mentoring Accreditation of IIC&M is available for all coaches and mentors who want to demonstrate their training and experience to an internationally recognised coaching and mentoring standard separately as a coach or mentor, or to be recognised both as a coach and mentor accredited by the IIC&M.
