The festival's mission is to support and promote the development and exhibition of works by Latino filmmakers including producers, directors, writers and actors, as well as movies that depict Latino culture. Last year GALFF premiered 2 films and showcased over 20 films from US and international directors, held industry panels /workshops and an acting workshop for middle school students taught by Pepe Serna. Our greatest accomplishments though is Discovering United States Latino artistic talent develop, while telling our stories and developing our talent. This year with our partners we will bring Clark Atlanta University Film and TV students workshops to make sure we develop the next generation Latino storyteller. Georgia Latino Film Festival 2013 will present feature films, documentaries, shorts and special screenings. In addition, filmmakers and the public will be able to participate in workshops as well as musical events.
