GALFF13 Georgia Latino Film Festival, co-founded by Jose Marquez , CEO of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association and Lance Robertson, CEO Robertson Media Group, in order to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and showcase the richness of Georgia's film industry's emerging Latino talent. The festival's mission is to support and promote the development and exhibition of works by Latino filmmakers including producers, directors, writers and actors, as well as movies that depict Latino culture. "This year our goals are to bring it up a notch", said Jose Marquez, CEO, LISTA Co-Founder and Executive Director, Georgia Latino Film Festival. "With new partners, advisors, more films and musical acts the Georgia Latino Film Festival and our community will reach new heights and so will the Film and TV Industry in Georgia. “The Georgia Latino Film Festival is a unique festival that goes above and beyond to make each filmmaker and their work feel special," said Lance Robertson CEO of Robertson Media Group and Co -Founder of Georgia Latino Film Festival, the films and directors we will showcase this year has energy in droves, It will have energy and buzz. Successfully launched 2012, the GALFF is quickly becoming the next "it" festival that will brings together diverse film buffs from all walks of life from the Atlanta community and celebrities and executives from all around the world. Last year GALFF premiered 2 films and showcased over 20 films from US and international directors, held industry panels /workshops and an acting workshop for middle school students taught by Pepe Serna. Our greatest accomplishments though is Discovering United States Latino artistic talent develop, while telling our stories and developing our talent. This year with our partners we will bring Clark Atlanta University Film and TV students workshops to make sure we develop the next generation Latino storyteller. Georgia Latino Film Festival 2013 will present feature films, documentaries, shorts and special screenings. In addition, filmmakers and the public will be able to participate in workshops as well as musical events.
