2nd Annual Georgia Latino Film Festival Opens October 11th Through October 13th 2013

Honoring Hispanic Heritage Month The Georgia Latino Film Festival brings diversity in filmmaking by showcasing today's Latino most creative minds in Films. Bringing to Georgia new voices and stories from all over United States, Latin America, Spain and Mexico.

ATLANTA - Oct. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia , October 2nd, 2013 -  Atlanta, Georgia will roll out the red carpet once again as the 2nd Annual Georgia Latino Film Festival (www.Georgialatinofilmfestival.org ) starts in October. The festival will run from Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the heart of Georgia's growing arts and entertainment capitol ...Atlanta. General screenings will be at the Plaza Theatre and receptions and events will be held at Clark University and Georgia Pacific conference center in Atlanta, Friday through Sunday. Headliners are Rick Najera, Yancy Arias, Marimar Vega, Chef Raul, Legendary Mexican Director Felipe Casalz, Kico Valarde, Georgia Performer Seich and directly from Puerto Rico international singing sensation Ricky Luis.

Georgia Latino Film Festival, co-founded by Jose Marquez , CEO of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association and Lance Robertson, CEO Robertson Media Group, in order to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and showcase the richness of Georgia's film industry's emerging Latino talent. The festival's mission is to support and promote the development and exhibition of works by Latino filmmakers including producers, directors, writers and actors, as well as movies that depict Latino culture.

Successfully launched 2012, the GALFF is quickly becoming the next "it" festival that will brings together diverse film buffs from all walks of life from the Atlanta community and celebrities and executives from all around the world. Last year GALFF premiered 2 films and showcased over 20 films from US and international directors, held industry panels /workshops and an acting workshop for middle school students taught by Pepe Serna. Our greatest accomplishments though is Discovering United States Latino artistic talent develop, while telling our stories and developing our talent. This year with our partners we will bring Clark Atlanta University Film and TV students workshops to make sure we develop the next generation Latino storyteller.

Georgia Latino Film Festival 2013 will present feature films, documentaries, shorts and special screenings. In addition, filmmakers and the public will be able to participate in workshops as well as musical events.
