MLM Blogs The Answer To Offline Network Marketing Woes

Former Offline Network Marketer Speaks On The Pros And Cons Of Online And Offline Marketing For Aspiring Multi Level Marketing Distributors

HILO, Hawaii - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Former Offline Network Marketing Pro Chris Kua spoke out today about why he saw online MLM blogs as the answer to much of the industries offline struggles.

"The biggest struggle for new distributors looking to build their Network Marketing business is exposing fresh faces to their opportunity.  In the industry, this is called keeping leads in your pipeline," Kua explained. "A well known offline strategy that almost every company uses is the warm contact names list.  This is a list of friends, family and acquaintances that the distributor knows.  Once this list is exhausted, people tend to feel overwhelmed and burdened by the thought of having to go out and solicit strangers."

As an offline networker with a beverage company, Chris spoke about his experiences in what he calls the cold market.

"It was tough. I'd spend hours walking around the different department stores and grocery stores meeting new people, striking up conversations and then evaluating if they were a good fit for my business.  It was like a business interview without them even knowing it," he said with a smile.

Kua then discusses how moving online has alleviated much of the pressure of cold contacting.

"On our very first day marketing on the internet, 28 people looked at our opportunity.  We had never done that offline " he fondly remembers.  "My wife and I were so excited because these were people that we hardly knew, if at all.  Many of them are still followers of our blog today and we've continuously been able to bring traffic to our business and keep our pipeline full without all of the pressure of cold contacting and home meetings."

When asked why he thought blogging works so well, this was his answer, "I genuinely believe that for the most part, people want to own their own business.  They want coaching and mentorship but they don't necessarily want to include friends or family members that may have a negative impact on their decisions.  So they search discreetly online. If your blog is positioned properly as an authority in the field that they're looking at, they won't need to look any further."

"The best part of having an MLM blog," he continued, "is that you're able to make a connection with people.  They get to know you so they're not just getting into business with a website or a sales page, they're getting into business with a real person."

Kua went on mention what he learned from his home town hero, business author Robert Kiyosaki, "I learned years ago from Robert Kiyosaki that the key to building wealth is owning assets.  Your blog becomes an asset that can provide massive income for practically nothing but time invested. All you have to do is have a coach to guide you.  That's where I come in."

We asked Chris one final question before departing.  If you could give one piece of advice to network marketers in the world, what would it be?

"Pursue your breakthrough.  Too many people wait around for something magical to happen to their business instead of going after their own personal breakthrough.  Most of all, just keep on moving."
