Jenna Narkum's Tips to Survive the Football Season - For Ladies

By: Expose Yourself PR

Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- With Football in full-swing, take cover for crazed super-fans…yes ladies, we’re talking to you! Keeping up with the boys is serious business when it comes to anything sports related. But, if you’re gonna walk the walk, you have to talk the talk.

The Faux Fan:

We salute the women out there who make a serious effort to keep up with professional sports. But, braggers beware! If you find statements such as, “I love Gronk, he is the BEST player of all time!” leaving your lips, than you better have some Sports Center stats to follow. If I could offer any piece of advice, it would be: go with what you know. Nobody said you have to know everything about sports, so there’s no need to try and over-impress! If you ARE a sports guru, than feel confident stating your case and giving input into heated sports debates. But if you find yourself cheering with all of the other pink hat fans, just showing an interest in the fate of your “favorite” team is enough! And we know, Tom Brady looks smokin’ with his new haircut and Gronk was spotted in the South End last weekend, but let’s focus on that tackle!

Looking The Part:

While Sports Bars are known for keeping it casual, some of us just don’t seem to get it right. There are some of us who feel the dire need to cover up head-to-toe with our team’s logo. While others run in the opposite direction, as they spice up their oversized jerseys with 6 inch heels. No matter what outfit you try to rock, know that as long as you’re cheering along, that’s all that matters. Put your comfort first & save the glam for a Friday night. After all, you’re trying to blend with the guys, not completely distract them.

Instant-Replay:

Here’s a quick recap of all you need to know to survive this football season and even pass off as a sports-expert. If you aren’t a New England Patriots fan, I’d suggest staying at home all together…(kidding)

1.   Go with what you know---and stick with it

2.   Find a happy medium between branding overload and sports Barbie

3.   Clap, Cheer, & always offer to order another round of drinks

4.   If you’re a pink hat fan, wave it proud and quit pretending

5.   Save your pipedreams of becoming Mrs. Brady for another day
