My Business Matches™ Executes Business Matchmaker for the 33rd Annual USHCC Convention

SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The U.S. Hispanic National Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) utilized My Business Matches™ (MBM) online business matchmaking solution and event services to execute the USHCC 33rd Annual Convention Business Matchmaker on September 17, 2013 in Chicago, IL at the Hilton Chicago.

The business matchmaker brought over 70 Fortune 500 Companies, federal agencies, and more than 150 certified small business enterprises to meet face to face, for 15 minute meetings, to discuss potential contract and procurement opportunities.

Many diverse businesses were represented at the event including veteran, minority and women owned businesses.  More than 700 meetings were conducted and 4,051 unique matches were created for between buyers and suppliers.

For the first time at the convention, My Business Matches™ showcased the use of technology by pushing the MBM mobile application (mbmapp.com) to promote quick, wireless check-in as well as promote a “GREEN” event.  The mobile application allowed participants to view schedules, company profiles, and the ability for buyers to rate suppliers instantly.

The check in process was seamless through the Mobile application which allowed participants to check themselves in and not have to wait on line. “Leveraging technology does so much in improving the efficiency and user experience of this event,” said Jeff Vigil, President & CEO of My Business Matches.  “Also, being able to track how many companies secured contracts because of the USHCC matchmaker 6 months out is priceless and provides key information to the chamber on how well these companies where matched. “
